The Make-Up

Good morningafternoonevening!

I hope everyone is well, because i sure am :)

I've just been shopping because my birthday is in 5 DAYS!! and i am putting together a collection of accessories that i am loving at the moment, for my special day.

First things first, i am quite simple and nude when it comes to putting on eye make up and i have found the perfect combination, of earthy, brown tones for my eyes. I found that a shimmer eye shadow made my eyes look nice and blue.

So to do this you need three colours, that compliment each other. The first step is to put a light colour on the bottom so it covers you whole eyelid and all the way up to your brow bone. Next, you get a medium dark colour and put that in the crease of your eyelid. Last step is to get the darkest colour and brush that on the ends of your eyelid (your outer V, if you want to get technical). Nice bit of knowledge there, enjoy! - It's also really nice to use an eye liner on the top and bottom lightly if your a plain person like me, or if you want more oomph, liquid liner or a dark pencil will do the trick!

So today i found this AH-MAZING lipstick that i can't get enough of. I wear a lot of plain clothes so jewellery and lipstick help to add a needed bit of colour to my outfit. So i found this fuscia-pinky colour which is just divine!
This is a lipstick by Maybelline, and if you have read my previous blog on my 'Winter Favourites', you can see that i have this brand of lipstick, just in red. This is called 'Vivid Rose' and i am in l-o-v-e!
Last, but not least, hair! Now for all of you girls who have curly hair, i suggest you read this because it will save your life! I also put this in my 'Winter Favourites' blog but i didn't really say anything on it. 'Toni and Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray' my new hair god!! This spray gives your hair a beachy, wavey look to it and it makes your hair look more relaxed , so great for everyday! It doesn't leave your hair all crusty, and gross, its perfect! Just make sure you don't spray it near the roots of your hair because it clumps up. Other than that... i love it!

Thank you for reading, beautiful bloggers! I hope you had a lovely easter and got lots and lots of chocolate from the easter bunny!

The Winter Time

Hello bloggers!

I've decided to be brave today and show you my winter favourites, considering the season is coming up here in Australia. HOWEVER! I thought i might be a little bit different and show you guys my winter favourites accessories.

To be honest accessories are the best part of a persons outfit. Seriously think about it. Shoes, for example, can make or break an outfit. A handbag can be the perfect touch to a casual saturday dinner out.

Anyway i'll stop blabbing on about how accessories turn me on and cut to the chase!

In this picture i show a bunch of things that i have plucked from my wardrobe, that have lasted me through previous winters, that you should DEFINATLY give a try.
Okay so in the top left are some Tony Bianco shoes that i got from an opshop for $15! What a find aye?! These shoes have a cute little heal on them, and they're the perfect height for basically any occasion. They look really pretty with stockings and a skirt, but if you're not the skirt type, they sit really nicely with some jeans.
If you care to look underneath that picture you'll see some scarves. And yes, if you were wondering that is a Harry Potter scarf. Scarves are an obsession of mine. Considering that winter is a farely dull season (colour wise) a scarf can really brighten up an outfit.
On the far right hand collumn, second from the bottom, there is a lovely lipstick. I got this on one of the rare occasions where i was in Topshop, and got that for $16. I found the lipstick to be so creamy and silky. It applyed to my lips so beautifully and ill use it almost every day in winter.
I'll just talk about one more accessory in the picture, and thats my bobble beanie. This is one of the best items of clothing i own! This hat has lasted me through 5 winters, two of which i was in the snow, and it is still in one piece. One of the features that i love about this hat is how you can attatch your earphones to the inside of the ear flaps. Your earphones don't get all wet and you can listen to your music without the earphones falling out! Win win! The hat also serves a purpose of keeping your ears and head nice and warm. This hat is from the Urban Essentials range and if they still have them i suggest you purchase one for winter, you won't regret it! Promise <3

I hope you like my winter favourites! Please ask me if you like something i havent mentioned and ill be happy to let you know as much as possible about the product. If you guys have some winter favourites please share them :)

So one night i log onto facebook and Pete starts to chat to me. - quick side note, he has talked to me everyday that week-  as any nice person would you would be polite and talk to him. After a while the conversation starts to die off. I'm thinking "yes! Maybe he'll give up"- wrong
Pete is a fighter.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" He says
"I dont really mind, whatever you want :)" i reply
"It's completely up to you my rose"

My rose

MY ROSE

Oh dear, my rose? Now please correct me if im over reacting...but is my rose really creepy or what?
But wait! The story continues!
After a while of talking dribble with Pete he decides to tell me that he draws. Ohh an artist, how mysterious and sexy.
He drew me a picture.
It was a rose
With my name written next to it in wonkey capital letters with a love heart.
Uhmm ... Thankyou ?

From what i've heard, Pete has liked every single girl on the face of the earth. So i was flattered, but i wasnt sweapt off my feet.
Infact just last year he started to chat up one of my close friends. Oh haha and she looks like a victoria secret model...hahahah im not kidding. Pete started to aim high. Feeling great that i was like his 108th choice. Woo!

So i really want to hear some other funny boy-date-pickupline  stories. Please please PLEEAASSEE share with me.

A Small Introduction

Hello !
i'm absolutely shocking at introductions, so i apologise in advance.

sorry

My name is Christina and it is very nice to meet you. I can't say i'm experienced to blogging, in-fact i have no idea what exactly to do. Don't get me wrong, iv'e read some fabulous blogs, but i haven't really plucked up the courage to do it until now.

My best friend actually told me i should start my own youtube channel ... i know right, how stupid is that? But the funny thing is, she was serious. She looked at me in this way, that's like her signature look. It was as if to say "i'm right, your wrong; get over it" so i guess, i got over it.

You might know her actually. Her blog is called 'Teatime with Willow' (http://teatimewithwillow.blogspot.com.au)  Holy mother mercy, it's a fabulous blog! and if you read about anyone called C, thats me. I'll fill you in on the amazing times we have together in due time.

My blog is sort of aimed at people who like to have a good laugh, a bit of a giggle at the silly things that happen in your day. I mean it's not like i have a really interesting life, but if you think about Hollywood movies, all people want to act about is everyday life. I have a few funny stories that i hope you will all enjoy and i hope to read a bit about you all in your own blogs.
